He performed and recorded the piece at Igreja Senhora da Conceição (Our Lady of the Conception Church) In Porto, Portugal
Originally Marimba Montuño (2002) was composed for solo marimba and, first performed and recorded by multi-percussionist, Joseph Gramley.
